Why We Built This
We started IEP Tutor after sitting through dozens of IEP meetings feeling overwhelmed, under-prepared, and unsure of our rights. We spent late nights Googling acronyms like PLAAFP, LRE, and FAPE — trying to make sense of a system that felt designed to confuse us.
We realized thousands of other parents felt the same way. So we built the resource we wished had existed: a single, free hub where families can find practical tools, expert-reviewed information, vetted tutors, and a community that understands.
